Hi,

Has Anyone used this company? Thought I'd better ask before I hand over any cash!!

They seem very reasonably priced, but i'm new to this and I'm not sure if there are likely to be any " hidden Extra's ! "

Any ideas?

Cheers Barbie :-)

Did anyone find anything out about this company? Seems to have answers for every sceptical question asked!!

Should I stay clear?

Hello,

YES, 'emigratingexpert' are registered agents.

I am using them and they have been great so far.

I spoke to many companies in my research for a reputable agent before I made my choice.

Their prices are very reasonable...along the same as go matilda.

I would recommend them.:cute:

Hi I was quoted £285 for everything, they said this was right!!!

Dont think I can trust something that cheap in comparison, I know you still send everything off yourself but they said they help you every step of the way for this one off fee!!!

No.....your wrong......thats the initial fee.....whole lot approx 13-1500quid, you must clarify with them.

Hiya Barbie - I have been in contact with these guys too. They also quoted me £285 for their fee helping with everything and then one other payment for the visa - first guy quoted £900 and the second who phoned quoted £1200 (for family visa) and that was it apart from medical and police check fees we would be liable for. I know I thought the same - too good to be true!! I have a husband who is unsure about taking the big step so we aren't going any further just at the moment so it would be interesting to see how you get on but I asked the forum too and someone did come back saying they were using them so maybe it is as it seems - good value for money and much needed help. Wishing you all the luck - Reenie:smile:

Hi, I am using emigratingexpert and they advised that the £285 fee was for a full service and the only extras is the application fees (they did a full break down of these). They even offered a discount of £50 so we have paid them £235. They have been helpful so far. Will keep you posted :jiggy:

Hi We have just instructed this company to act on our behalf. We seem to be paying alot more than everyone else ? we have been asked to pay £1250.00 up front? and then approx £800 on completion. I am a qualified nurse and we are applying for a 175 visa does this sound right or should we be careful ?

thanks

Hi ,

Marty and I are using them as well....

Our amount is £285 for a family 175 visa, but that was a special offer .

I think there has been previous comments about this agent on here, no bad comments , all good !!.

We are happy so far.

Hi Marty and Debs

When did you start your visa process with this company ? how long has it taken so far? All in all we are paying approx £2000 is this normal? as we are new to this we were recommended to this company by a friend of a friend so have not researched thoroughly

many thanks

Hi ,

I have been using them and they have been great! I was on the phone to them nearly every day with questions and they never got fed up of me! We paid just the £285 and are waiting for our 457 visa to be approved. Although we did the paperwork ourselves Jo our advisor put little markings for all the questions we needed to answer, she even gave me her home email address so that i could contact her at weekends! I would definately recommend them.

Hi , tillytopping,

We originally spoke to them in January 2008

We thought that it was to good to be true £285 .......Specail offer .....so we left it and spoke to some other agents, then went to Thinking Australia seminar , i think it was April.

That was excellent , so we decided we would use them but when paper work came through wanted £1100 up front....and the rest later.....um ....didn't tell us that though !!!

We then phoned Emigrating Expert 2 wks ago and they honoured our first quote .

There are no hidden extras .

We have only just started , last 6 mnths have just been reading up and waiting for Marty to get himself into gear !!!!!!!!

As for your quote that does seem alot to me .

Have you spoken to any other migrating agents ?

Might be a good idea to spk to roma1 or PM them as they are further down the line than us.

Good luck with whatever you decide

Hi Everyone

You had me very worried thinking we were being ripped off, but that does not seem to be the case please everyone using the agent check out thier website emigrating expert.com. Where it clearly states in black and white that the initial fee for a family visa is £285 inc vat but and its a big but as stated (and to quote)under the side heading facts it does clearly state the following "There are fees payable to relevant immigration authorities and sundry costs for medicals, police checks, ect.... We can advise you of the visa fees when we identify the relevant visa route" thats where our total of £2000 comes in because we have a larger than average family ( 4 children) So in this case Planky does seem to be spot on with the estimate of 1300 -1500 I guessing this is based on your average size family too .

hope this is of use to everyone and I do hope some of you are actually getting a bargain wish I was lol.
