Guest mtcosby Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 We are at the final stage of the immigration process. Our police checks have been sent to Adelaide on the 12/12/07, & we have been told to expect delays of up to 16 week between applications being recieved, and being looked at ............. :arghh: So we plan on putting the house up for sale in 01/08 regardless of the outcome of the application....If.... we are lucky enough to sell our house in the short time we have. then we have too sell all our personnel stuff, ie, furniture, appliances, car, nik naks etc, as we have decieded not to ship all our belonging out with us ( the cost of shipping is more than the total worth of all our belongings, so we are only takin our most presious things with us, ie, jewellery, photos, Kids..... LOL only joking about the kids. he he. Then we have to find rented accommadation.( s__t the list is getting longer),We do have one big plus, that is when we do finally arrive in Australia (Perth) we will be staying with friends for a while," I just hope there still friends by the time we move on"... Soooooo much to think about. but now the meds & police checks are out of the way we can at least try to relax and enjoy xmas and try to forget all the stress of the immigration process. Has anyone been in a simalar position ????????????
