Hi guys, can anyone tell me please...have you any experience of migration agents 'Grist International'?

They are based in Brisbane, the rates are really competitive, their services look fab, I'm really happy so far with the dealings we've had with them (they are really prompt with their replies).

Just wondered if anyone else had had dealings with this agency and what their comments were?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks in advance

Hi Jenny,

We have entrusted Grist International with our migration matters since January and they have been absolutely superb. We were thinking of going it alone at one point but don't regret paying for Jo and her team to deal with our whole process. She has been a mind of information and her rates are extremely competitive. I can say without hesitation that she has taken the stress out of the process and we are getting closer to achieving our dream of 'a new life down under'.

We were given plenty of advice on choosing the most appropriate visa and she emailed all the necessary forms for our completion. All forms were then proof checked by her before hard copies were sent out to Oz. All her help and advice and good communication helps towards a worry free process. Hopefully once a case officer is allocated, the last parts of the puzzle will fall in place!

Good luck. Steve & Wendy.

Hi,

We have been using Jo at Grist. We can not speak highly enough about her, she has been fantasic. We were recommened Jo from a friend who has used her, she also said that she was brilliant. She is always prompt when answering or sorting any problems you have. Everything is done quickly and efficently.

I dont think that you can go wrong in using Jo for your agent. We have been really pleased so far.

We, started using Jo Grist of Grist International in Sept 2005.

Jo became part of our life as every morning we would switch on the pc to see if we'd had a reply or update -if Jo said she'd do it, it was there. We gained our Visa Nov 2006, and flew out in Feb 2007 - we have been here in OZ now just over the year and I'll say Jo, has still been the rock she always was still there if needed. We have recommended her services to many whom also feel the same way. Good luck with your visa. It's a great place doen here..................................

Thanks for your reply Michelle, I agree with you, Jo is a super-star, I tell her that in most of my emails as like you said, she is so prompt and speedy with her replies. She feels like more than 'just an agent' she feels like a friend as her emails always have that personal touch.

We are delighted with her, so glad we picked her as our agent. What you said about her being a rock for you once you landed in Australia is the impression I get from her, I just had a gut feeling about using her as we believe she will be our 'rock' once we get to Australia too.

Thanks again Michelle.

Hope you are loving your new life in Australia!

Can't wait to get there, Hubby got his practical skills assessment in april then it's on with the visa application!

Hi Jenny

We are new to this and are just in the early stages of thinking about a move to Australia and whether to use an agent or not. We were pleased to read all your positive comments about Grist International as were considering them for us. Their fees seem so reasonable compared to other agents we wondered if they were too good to be true!

Just wondering how you are going with the process. Also, does it matter if you use an agent in Brisbane but decide to move to another state in Australia?

Thanks for any advice you can give. Kelly and Tom:idea:
