(It should be noted that I alread work for an Australian company and I required my 457 for a transfer.) Nomination: Applied June 1st Approved June 28th Visa: Applied: July 24th Approved: July 30th (2 days were a weekend) Visa docs uploaded: Proof of health cover (Bupa), certified copy of Passport, Birth Certificate and a copy of my CV. I uploaded these without being requested and they did not request anything further. Without the gap (down to me) the entire process would have taken 33 days and would have taekn even less had I lodged my visa application at the same time my nomination was being processed. Psalm23 Posted December 11, 2012 Share Posted December 11, 2012 Hello i am just wondering how long does it take for visa 457 being approved now November/December 2012 my husband visa was lodged 20th nov 21 application commenced 21st medical requested 21st medical received 21 medical finalised 22nd application being processed further. and nothing since. Almost 3 weeks waiting. Is it still as quick as at the beginning of the year or does it take longer due to Christmas coming...? any reply would be appritiated.
