As a sparky I know I will have to re-qualify and get my licence in order to work legally.

I am wanting to work in the mines for a while and want to know if there any extra qualifications are needed.

Thanks in advance.

HI TOM

IF YOU LOOK ON WWW.INFOMINE.COM.AU YOU WILL FIND JOBS FOR SPARKS IN THE MINES / CLICK ON THE JOBS AND IT WILL TELL U THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND TICKETS REQUIRED CKEERS KEILY ..

Nice one - there's some really good jobs on there

One is offering $52 per hour!!! is that a good rate or what???

The only prob I can see is there isn't alot in Victoria where I'm hopefully heading.

I guess a bit of internal flying won't hurt!!!

$52 Dollars per hour that sounds very good.

I qualified as a mining electrician with the N.C.B but have not worked as an

Electrician since 1983.

Worked as Electronics Tech since then

at the time it looked like the good money would be in electronics.

how times change.

Is it possible to get any training on Australian Mining Electrical system?

If so

(1) How much will it cost?

(2) How long would it take?
