Guest Tom the Pom Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 As a sparky I know I will have to re-qualify and get my licence in order to work legally. I am wanting to work in the mines for a while and want to know if there any extra qualifications are needed. Thanks in advance.

Life on easy street Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 $52 Dollars per hour that sounds very good. I qualified as a mining electrician with the N.C.B but have not worked as an Electrician since 1983. Worked as Electronics Tech since then at the time it looked like the good money would be in electronics. how times change. Is it possible to get any training on Australian Mining Electrical system? If so (1) How much will it cost? (2) How long would it take?
