Guest Russgstaylor
Hi, My partner and i are due to leave the uk for aus in 4 weeks time. She has just hadbad news following a biopsy. She has found out that there are pre-cancerous cells in her left breast. Our visa activation expires 21 jun and we are due to fly out 21 may? Whatis the process we need to go through, i am the lead visa applicant, can i justcome out and activate mine and her follow or do we both need to activate? Where do we sit withthe expiry period? If anyone has any experience of this please get in touch!
Petals
Sorry cannot help you but I am sure there is someone here who will have had a similar occurrence.
Quinkla
You both need to travel to validate the visas but you can come straight back to get medical treatment. Better to do this in the UK as you won't have to pay a massive bill. I would advise staying together through this. You going on as a search party whilst your partner is stuck on her own with a major health worry would not be the right thing to do. Bon chance, mon brave. lebourvellec
Yes you both need to validate your visas - if only you validate, your partners will run out, and would need to apply for a new visa, then there might be issues with the medical.
