I got my engagement recently. now i want to get visa for my wife.(She is not in Australia) i have few question about this. 1. Do i need to pay full amount of Visa fee again when apply visa for my wife? 2. Does she need IELTS when apply this visa? Your Reply will be really appreciated. lebourvellec Posted April 22, 2012 Share Posted April 22, 2012 From the Information You need to apply by paper, and send to Adelaide Processing Centre Form 1296 You need to pay the full 1st visa application charge £2960. Due to this being a Secondary applicant - the CO will requst the IELTS when its required - "To avoid payment of the second instalment visa application charge, you must provide evidence that any secondary applicants 18 years or over included in the application have at least functional English.
