Guest klangton Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hi eveyone:) I have recently bought an apple iphone (which I love!) but I found out today that they are not out in Australia and I cannot transfer it over to a provider in Oz. This now means that I am in a contract with O2 for 16 months and I have to remain paying the amount (£35 a month) even thought the phone is useless.:arghh: When I bought the phone the man in Carphone Warehouse told me that to take it over to Australia I would have to arrange it with Apple but they have informed me that this is not the case. :nah: At the time of buying the phone we did not have our visa and were not sure we would ( I have a few medical problems) but now we have been given our visa ( which we are over the moon about). I know now with hindsight that I should have waited but things were so uncertain. Any suggestions as to what to do would be greatfully recieved A very annoyed Karen :realmad:
Guest The Cutches Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hi Karen, I guess you could try going back to the store and explaining how you were mis-informed. If they won't do anything, you could ask if you can transfer your contract and try ebay? :err: Good Luck CC x
