Guest Trakki Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Another forum user rang them it does cost £1 a minute though and was told their meds had been finalised and their visa had been granted. The number is 09065508900 Thanks for all the info Paul and Kaye and everyone else, I decided I am too impatient for the email so phoned them. my meds have arrived and been uploaded so are in the system although only mine, Petes and his 2 childrens (they are not coming with us) were on there. Our 4 children were not on there but she said not too worry about it. She also said that there were no messages or anything outstanding (strange seeing that we haven't sent pcc's yet). At least I know meds are there so back to the waiting game  Thanks again Tracey
Guest The.Colebecks Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hi Tracey Glad to hear your meds are in the system, hopefully you'll hear about the others soon. Do you still have the telephone number that you called? Was it the £1 per minute number that someone mentioned and if so how long do you think you spent on the line? What UK time did you call them? ... sorry for all the questions :cute: K xx

Found out that 4 meds were finalised in November and last one completed yesterday, hopefully not too long now. Nothing is outstanding either. :notworthy: Yayyyy
Guest wardy Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Karen it closes at 4 you dont have to spend much time on it just press the buttons when you need to and dont listen to them talking also have main applicants passport number ready and possibly file reference but I didn't need that. number is 09065508900 took i would say 3 mins. Some phones wont let you ring it though I had to ring phone company to get call barring of for premium rate numbers.
Guest Gollywobbler Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hi AllI completely understand everyone's concerns and impatience with this interminable waiting. However, at the risk of being a killjoy, although London can access the ICSE database for anyone's applications, from anywhere in the world, they do have their own workload of Spouse, Child, long-stay tourist and other visas to handle as well. (I'm not sure where student visas are dealt with but I think that might also be London.) Please do bear in mind that if people are continually phoning the Hgh Commission, it will prevent the staff there from getting on with their real work. That, I suggest, is not fair on the people who are patiently waiting for visas that are processed - and can only be processed - in London. After all, these people are not stuffing your applications up by calling the ASPC every five minutes for information about their own applications, so please consider whether it is fair for you to be doing so to them, I suggest. Many thanks Gill
Guest wardy Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Hi Gill there is a dedicated line for checking this info seems like a call centre affair they are all geared up to answering the question all they need is main applicants passport number and they tell you straight away. Now stop being a killjoy :biglaugh:

What UK time did you call them? ... sorry for all the questions :cute: K xx Yes it was the £1 per min number but lady was really efficient, only spent 2 mins on the phone. They are open 9-4 our time so no problems getting hold of them It does give options in the recorded message for lots of different visas and the option you choose is the one for checking progress of visas, medicals etc, so I don't think it would affect anyones work load, it is a call centre from the sounds of it. I would have thought that if it was a problem ringing them in would state this in the recorded message at the beginning. HTH Tracey

Did you call the 09065 number & if so, approx how long did your call last? Is this an automated number that you can all at any time or did you call them at a specific UK time? Karen xx
