  1. Hi guys. This is my first post here so be nice haha. I'm landing into Perth on the 5th of August on a WHV, and as many others have done, been looking at the best way to manage my UK finances when I arrive in Australia with regards to transferring money over etc.... Done quite a bit of research with all the UK banks to find out what my options are and I thought it was worth putting it out there that's Marks & Spencer have brought out a new current account which enables you to withdraw cash free worldwide from ATM's - without the foreign exchange charge! I thought this was worthwhile posting as it might be pretty good for anybody in similar circumstances to save yourself some pennies when you're thinking of setting off on your travels! Andrew :-)
  2. Hi Folks I'm having a bad day, please bear with me! Well I'm not sure if I'm just imagining all this, being a neurotic woman and all!! But I can't help but think that just lately, my friends and family are beginning to withdraw from me. And I'm really beginning to feel hurt. (But then I suppose its nothing compared to what I'm puting them through.) I try really hard not to talk about Australia and the Visa when I'm with them. But thats difficult when they're the ones that bring it up! As you all know, this process throws all sorts of unexpected emotions at you as it is and I'm finding having to deal with this one is really tough. I'm beginning to feel alone, and alien in my own country. (well if nothing else its good training for when I really am an alien!) I'm really not sure how to handle it, does anyone else feel this kind of thing happning to them?? Or am I truly alone . I dear.... i do sound pathetic don't I!! Help......
  3. Now I am in the process of withdrawing my old application for 175 visa in order to lodge a new one with another ANZSCO code. My agent sent request for withdrawing 10 days ago, and the application is still exists in DIAC's system. Could someone, who also withdrew an application before, tell me how long does the process usually takes? I want to lodge my new application as soon as possible. All documents are ready. Thanks in advance for your replies!
  4. Just thought, people might want to take this step after new priority changes and fake assurances from DIAC that they care. Take a poll.
