    PIC 4020 notice help needed

Me and my partner was on 485 visa which expired on 13 th of june. On 13th of june , i applied student visa and included my partner in the application. The mistake has happened while applying on form , migration agent forget to mention that about partner's refusal letter of student application lodged in 2014 for which case officer raised invite PIC 4020 to comment. Here , i mention that when my partner's 485 dependant visa was lodged last year in august. My agent already provided refusal information in the form and department granted her visa and she came to australia. I lodged another application of 489 on 20 th of june after receiving invitation. I was on bridging visa A of student visa application, when i lodged 489 application. So that's why i was granted bridging visa C showing not in affect because of my student visa application is still in progress. I have no out come for both applications. I have only received invitation PIC 4020 because of mistake picked up on student visa application by case officer. Now, i need an advise that if i withdraw my student visa application, will it still have impact on my 489 application. Thanks
  3. Hello, I'm very new to this site so hope I'm doing this correctly. I was hoping to get some advice from anyone who is in the know / has had a similar experience. I have been employed with my employer for 2 years and 5 months. My employer completed a nomination for me for 186 visa In May last year. I submitted my application in October last year. It has only recently come to my attention that the department are disputing the validity of my visa and it sounds like it won't be granted because the nomination was put it too early. ( My concern being my money for visa may be lost despite them not even looking at my part of the application yet ) We have received nothing formal yet - but communication / response is proving very difficult. Im just wondering how likely it is that the nomination and subsequent application would be approved given it was submitted early ? Even though that time frame has long been surpassed? And I made contact before I submitted my application and feel like I have been given misleading information? Also, if it was to be refused - what would my options be? Or is there anything I can do now before it gets to that point ? I have been trying to access some advice from certified migration agents and waiting on call backs/ appointments but my anxiety regarding this is getting the better of me so thought I would post here to see if there is any other advice. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanking you in advance.

  5. OK It's a bit of a long winded story but I'll try to shorten it as much as possible: I'm on a 457 Visa with my current employer Last August 2012 we put in the 186 Visa and they paid for it all (Over $3500) but I was told to submit the documents myself. Paid and had all medicals done and UK and Aus police checks Didn't really know what I was doing but did my best and thought I'd uploaded everything correctly Received a call a couple of weeks ago to say I'd submitted the Employer part using direct entry stream and my part using theTemporary Residence Transition stream which is the one I should have chosen for both. Basically told it was either withdraw and lose the money or she'd have to refuse it. Obviously I withdrew and my employer is happy (ish) to do it again but I am obviously having to pay for my part this time We submitted everything again on Friday My questions are; As I can't afford a migration agent (And am pretty confident I'll not be that stupid again) am I able to submit a decision ready application on my own? Do you know what the current wait time is for these applications as I already feel we've been waiting for so long and I don't feel safe if you know what I mean? I feel like there's a huge weight on my shoulders until this is final. We want to buy a house and actually settle in the Country we've called home for 5 years and it's all our son has ever known. The last person at the company gave me the last 3 month bank statements but I'm now been told that I can't have these due to privacy - will this be a deal-breaker. If there is something missing will this put us back down the list? Has anyone else been this stupid and had to start again?
  6. Hi:biggrin: Does anyone have an example of withdrawal letter that is needed to be send to withdraw the application for 175 visa? Many thanks in advance!
  7. Hi all, Quick q - does anyone know how long to remove a 175 Visa from the DIAC system (once the request has been received)? Also, for an online 'saved' application (176 Visa) - if you've forgotten the id number/password, how long does the Adelaide Centre take to clear that from the system (so you can start again)? I've been a complete wally, need to get this sorted asap. Thanks for any thoughts. K
  8. Hi, does anybody know how to ask for a SS withdraw? How and what do we tell the State? Thanks Caz
  9. Hi All, I have an on-going 175 application and I have obtained sponsorship from NSW. So I am planning to withdraw the same and re-lodge a new 176 visa application. I am well aware of the fact that I will not get any re-fund and need to pay again for the new visa application. Can anyone please let me know how to withdraw my 175 application lodged online ? Also how long does it take for the withdrawal and can I re-apply again online? Is there any waiting period before I go ahead and lodge a 176 application online? Thanks in advance.
  10. Hi, My agent is not responding properly and hence i would like to cancel his authorisation. I cannot send any PLE to DIAC as he has the authorised email id. How do i go about cancelling his authorisation. Pls help Thanks

    Withdraw 856 visa

Hi All, Just a quickie, we applied for our 856 visa but had to withdraw it as a certificate was missing. Anyway, what I wanted to know is when we reapply, do we have to submit all our certificates/police checks again? My husband was told when he went in to the immi office that it would all be on file and we shouldn't have to resubmit all our info as it's already on record, but then our case worker said we may have too. Was just wondering if anyone has been in this situation before and if they had to resubmit everything? Any info you guys can offer would be a great help. Thanx
  12. Hi everyone, I've lodged in a 485 application few months ago and i'm on a bridging visa A , and now i'm eligible to apply for a 885. I was wondering , will that be a problem if i lodge in for 885 and withdraw the 485 application after logding in the 885? will the withdrawal affects my 885 application? I'm doing this because the nomiated occupation on the 485 was nominated wrongly(2231-17 Software Designer instead of ACS assessed 2231-79 recent graduate), according to DIAC policy, we are unable to change the nomiated occupation after the application has been lodged. so i was thinking, before the 485 being refused i need to apply for 885 and withdraw the 485 application. need some urgent advice here.. many thanks

    Can i withdraw SS application?

Hi all I have lodged State Sponsorship for Victoria but now i think WA is more appropriate for me, Can i withdraw my VIC application?
  15. I appreciate if some one could help me to make a decision… I have applied for 175 five months a go. My occupation is Industrial Engineering which is neither in CLS nor in MODL, also none of the states sponsors this occupation. There is another occupation which is in CSL and I am sure I can get a successful assessment from its assessing authority. As per DIAC’s rules it is not possible to change the nominated occupation once the application is submitted. What do you advice me to do; should I do nothing and wait for my current application (which is neither CSL nor MODL) to be processed even there is no definitive processing time, or should I withdraw my current application and apply with the other occupation which is in CSL?
