Hello all, Just wanted to know how long people have waited for their 457 to be approved and if I should be worried? My employment agency sent mine via internet on 24.07.09 and a case manager was assigned on 27.08.09 and my medicals reached them on 04.08.09 and I still have not heard anything!!!! It is sooooo frustrating as we are ready to book the flights and can't until we have the visa. I am wondering why it has taken so long, especially as it was picked up by a case manager so long ago! Has anyone else waited this long, or longer, is this normal, do I just have to be patient, or is there something wrong? OH has his review at work next week and would really like to let them know, as I think they have an inkling that we are going and they are restructuring the whole company with him in mind. He doesn't want to annoy them by announcing too late that he is going and risk not being able to use them as a reference! Would be appreciative of experiences and any advice as to whether there is anything we can do, or whether we have to play the boring game of patience!!!!!:arghh: Thanks

THE HOUSE IS SOLD!!!!!! We completed today. This last week has been the most stressful of our lives. I never, ever, want to go through that again. I'm dreading our next phone bill. It has taken two years and 55k off the asking price to get to today. Oh, and I've aged about 20 years!!!! We are just having a glass of bubbly and looking forward to our first good night's sleep in a long, long time. So as far as we are concerned, our new lives start today. To actually live a day without worrying about the house in the UK is going to be great. T xxxx
