Dear All, I lodged my EOI through SkillSelect end of last month. I am looking for WA State Sponsorship (Subclass 190). As I already lodged my EOI, does it mean that WA will send invitation automatically when they think it should be? I mean should I wait or need to do any formalities beforehand? Thanks for your suggestion!

I am not sure if anyone has posted about this yet, but WA have announced a new procedure for processing sponsorship (nomination) applications from 1 July. There is more information about this on our news page, and also on the Western Australia pages. Cheers, Veronika

Hello!! Is anyone in the process of applying for the 489? I have done my English test and got a band 9 so 20 points there... I am 24 so 25 points there... I have a degree from UK so 15 points there.... But it wants a skills assessment for my profession! I was a Marketing & Sales Manager in the UK but I don't have any paperwork to prove that. Do you know what kind of assessment it is I need to do and where I go to do it? I have been reading and reading all sorts of info for visa and my head is set to explode... if anyone has done this or is doing this I would love some advice as I feel am going round in circles now! Any advice or information would be Ah May Zing!! :biggrin:

Hi everyone, This is my first post so forgive me if this has been asked before . We are filling out the WA state sponsorhip application and we have to say which 2 wa regions we are interested in settling, we are dead set on Perth so that is number 1, but not having researched many other areas what would be a good 2nd choice?
