Hi, My mum is currently visiting on a e600 (3 month) Visa due to expire in May. Obviously current Chaos means, they cancelled her flight back to the UK, and in all honesty as she is fit and well (even at 70) and we are in Lockdown, I would rather her stay longer - I'm a Citizen and her only child. I'm about to apply for the Visitor Visa (should have done that in the first place) Does anyone know how much the 3-6-12 Month prices are? Thanks in Advance :) Stay safe all Lisa x

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to open up a bank account in Australia while being in the country on just an ETA (visitor visa) ? Has anyone had any experience doing this? If I am successful, I will need to attend an AHPRA office in Australia to finalise some registration there, and thus need proof of Australian residence. I was hoping to apply for an australian bank account while still in the UK but am unsure of the ETA visa ~(NOT a work visa)~ will allow me to do this. Then I could get the bank to print off a statement with the Australian address I will be temporarily residing at. Kind regards, Daniel

Greetings from snowy Minnesota in the US! Over the past couple months, I've been planning a dream vacation for my elderly parents. I can't remember a time when my mom didn't talk about wanting to go to Australia. Well, I have everything booked and I then applied for everyone's ETA. Everyone else's immediately approved, while mine didn't. I had one bad night in college where I was charged with reckless driving 10 years ago & spent a night in jail. I claimed it on my ETA & I doubt that'll get approved. So I've started filling out the Visitor Visa 600 form. Tomorrow, I should get the results of the Overseas Penal Clearance Certificate, so that I can attach it to my application. Since you're all pretty knowledgeable about this, our trip is planned to start 3/3/18...what are my chances that I can get approved if I submit it tomorrow? Any tips/recommendations for me? Thank you so so so much for anything that you can provide me. Hopefully my next question will be about restaurant recommendations :D.
