Ok it’s armed forces day on the 26th, time to show we all support the real hero’s of Britain, rather than the ones that pretend to do their best, let’s support the Men and Woman that put their lives on the line for us, and do their best day in and day out without the fan fare to make this country great Armed Forces Day | Honouring Britain's Armed Forces - Past, Present and Future. :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

This is a great story. Trafalgar Union Jack sets auction world record - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) Trafalgar Union Jack sets auction world record The only surviving Union Jack from the Battle of Trafalgar has sold at auction in London for nearly $700,000 after being found tucked away in a drawer in a Sydney home. The battle-scarred flag, which was flown from the mast of HMS Spartiate during the battle, was given to Lieutenant Clephan by his crew mates 204 years ago as a reward for his bravery during the fighting.

Hi Is there any Rugby fans out there who would like a good day out, all welcome and if any of you have any children who'd like to join the juniors let me know. The club is based on the Gold Coast and it's a really friendly club with a good social side one of the teams are a feeder club for the Reds so it's a very good standard. So if your interested let me know and we'll arrange a date. Cheers Paul

Being Welsh and supposedly having Rugby Union as our national game, I was delighted to hear that there was loads of Rugby sides out in Queensland so I could get my fix as often as I needed. Also thought.............Aussie rugby, best in the world, I'll be supporting a succesful club (for a change!). Oh no.....................nothing of the kind................what happends this weekend? Queensland Reds 3 - Vodacom Blue Bulls 92!!! Biggest defeat in the history of super 14 rugby! All I can do is apologise to the Queensland Reds for even thinking of being a Welshman supporting them. Obviously, being Welsh, liking rugby, following a particular side, means big losses. (Welshtone....no comments please, I know the Ospreys are good for the money at the moment!!) Ah well, never mind.............whats this aussie rules thing about????
