  1. Hi all, In a TRA skills assessment, one part is to "explain your work in your own words". Can this be typed in word documents and signed after printing, or does it need to be done on Statutory Declaration forms. Or maybe it needs to be certified by a JP. Does anyone know the best way to do this. I know I'm posting all the time! I've just "hit a wall" in my skills assessment. Thanks
  2. Greetings all. May I compliment you (the person(s) responsible that is) on a rather excellent website. Very impressive it is. So, onto my question. My wife and I are currently in the process of planning our move to Australia from the UK. She is Australian, I am British, we were married last July and are expecting our first child in June this year. I am applying for a Visa using Form 47SP and we have reached the relationship statement part and we have a question. It says on Page 38 of the guidance notes 1127 that, and I quote; "The statements written by you and your partner can be on ordinary writing paper or a statutory declaration form may be used." Our question is, does it have to be hand-written? Surely a neatly typed out document with every page signed by the author will be sufficient? I have just spent approximately 7 hours typing out 6 pages detailing our relationship. I really don't want to hand write it again. Many thanks, Barcode1888
  3. Is it ok to type your personal statement when applying for a spousal visa? or do they want it handwritten? As my handwriting is very intricate. Thanks

    hand writen or typed ?

Hi Everyone, Im hoping someone can tell me, all the forms we have downloaded , ie, 80, 160, 47ES etc are in .PDF format and all have been interactive, ie, designed for use on a computer ie dates only in dates, certain words only here and there and on the odd occasion hand written sections only of course no typing can be done there, i have assumed until now that if the DIAC designed these forms like this then there should be no problems submitting them typed up rather than hand written, has anyone ever had any problems doing this or been told not to do this, (now i've nearly completed all our forms in typed format) Cheers Steve 'n' Beth x
