  6. My name is Kerrie and I originally from London. I am 28 and I live here with husband (he is 31), he is orginally from Sheffield. We have been here on and off for the last couple of years whilst we have been travelling and have now been back for just over a year and half. Looking to meet up with people that like a laugh and just happy to meet up for a drink or do things around the city etc. If anyone is interested, I thought I would perhaps arrange some drinks this Thursday in perhaps the Kirribilli Hotel (http://www.kirribillihotel.com.au/index.html) which is a nice pub (bit like the pubs at home) or somewhere in the city if that is better for everyone? I was thinking of anytime after 7.30pm............ Let me know if anyone is interested (anyone is welcome)

It willhappen one day, we applied for our visa 15months ago and now we are finally there but it has taken 22months in total. all the best Bonnie and family x

  12. Well as they say, one door closes and another opens up. As you know, I lost my job on Monday due to downsizing. Sent out a few resumes this week, had an interview today and bang... got the job... start Monday. Also it is paying $8k more a year than my previous job and less hours... can't complain about that, and still only a 20 min drive from home. So all in all a great week. To all of you looking for a job... keep thinking positive thoughts. Fingers crossed for all of you. Cheers Karen

  15. ... and I don't know where to start!:arghh: The house is a tip, we have no phone line (relying on mobile phone for internet etc), have two grumpy teething children and I have no idea of what I am supposed to do about the packing etc. So far I have sorted all of the cupboards etc out, I have started to pack the suitcases and our air-freight boxes but I don't really know what to do about the rest of our things. Can I just leave them in a big pile and let the packers sort them out in to boxes etc? We sold most of our furniture, so I have nothing to store things on or in so the house is a mess. I just have some boxes/crates etc with books and the ornaments are in the kitchen. Do I just leave it and direct them where to pack or do I have to put things together? I can't think straight and can't see the wood for the trees if you know what I mean. Please help me!

    Omg leave on thursday!!!

Right well we are just about ready to go.................................. And it hasn't been a easy ride BELIEVE me!! The last 2 weeks or so, things have come out of the wood work, jealous jealous people trying their hardest to ruin it for us, family making it difficult for us and and just plain evil people trying to cause as much trouble as possible BUT we have come through it and we are excited again! And I read something the other day that really helped so I thought I would share it with you all: In the end we will only regret the chances we didnt take , The relationships we were to scared to have , The decisions we waited too long to make , I think there comes a time in all our lifes when we realise ..WHO MATTERS , WHO NEVER DID, and WHO ALWAYS WILL... so lets not worry about the people from our past because theres a reason they didnt make it to our future ... Nothing lasts forever, so lets all live it up, Drink it down, Laugh it off , Avoid the bull****, Take chances & , Love like you aint ever loved before, Never have regrets because at one point every thing you did was as exactly what you wanted !!!! xxxx :wubclub:

    Medicals on Thursday!!

I'm so and worried they're gonna find something wrong with me that I didn't know about . I'm filling out the 26eh form at the moment, and I'm wondering if I should put down that I suffer from minor shoulder pain? Its never been treated by a doctor, because it doesn't cause me much hassle, so it's not on any medical records. Also, my OH once had to have stitches for a cut on his head, does he have to put that down, or is it only major injuries? Thanks Sarah

    Thursday Funny!

How To Shower Like a Woman Take off clothes and place them sectioned in laundry basket according tolights and darks. Walk to bathroom wearing long dressing gown. If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas. Look at your womanly physique in the mirror - make mental note to do more sit-ups / leg-lifts, etc. Get in the shower. Use face cloth, arm cloth, leg cloth, long loofah, wide loofah and pumice stone. Wash your hair once with cucumber and sage shampoo with 43 added vitamins. Wash your hair again to make sure it's clean. Condition your hair with grapefruit mint conditioner enhanced. Wash your face with crushed apricot facial scrub for 10 minutes until red. Wash entire rest of body with ginger nut and jaffa cake body wash. Rinse conditioner off hair. Shave armpits and legs. Turn off shower. Squeegee off all wet surfaces in shower. Spray mould spots with Tile cleaner. Get out of shower. Dry with towel the size of a small country. Wrap hair in super absorbent towel. Return to bedroom wearing long dressing gown and towel on head. If you see partner along the way, cover up any exposed areas. *********************** How To Shower Like a Man Take off clothes while sitting on the edge of the bed and leave them in a pile. Walk naked to the bathroom. If you see partner along the way, shake willy at her making the 'woo-woo' sound. Look at your manly physique in the mirror. Admire the size of your willy and scratch your bum. Get in the shower. Wash your face. Wash your armpits. Blow your nose in your hands and let the water rinse them off. Fart and laugh at how loud it sounds in the shower. Spend majority of time washing privates and surrounding area. Wash your bum, leaving those coarse bum hairs stuck on the soap. Wash your hair. Make a Shampoo Mohican. Wee. Rinse off and get out of shower. Partially dry off. Fail to notice water on floor because curtain was hanging out of bath the whole time. Admire willy size in mirror again. Leave shower curtain open, wet mat on floor, light and fan on. Return to bedroom with towel around waist. If you pass partner, pull off towel, shake willy at her and make the 'woo-woo' sound again. Throw wet towel on bed.

    Thursday's Dose of Laughter

You might not have known this, but a lot of non-living objects are actually either male or female. Here are some examples: FREEZER BAGS: They are male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them. PHOTOCOPIERS: - These are female, because once turned off, it takes a while to warm them up again. - They are an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can also wreak havoc if you push the wrong buttons. TYRES: Tyres are male, because they go bald easily and are often over inflated. HOT AIR BALLOONS: Also a male object, because to get them to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under their arse SPONGES: These are female, because they are soft, squeezable and retain water. WEB PAGES: Female, because they're constantly being looked at and frequently getting hit on. TRAINS: Definitely male, because they always use the same old lines for picking up people. EGG TIMERS: Egg timers are female because, over time, all the weight shifts to the bottom. HAMMERS: Male, because in the last 5000 years, they've hardly changed at all, and are occasionally handy to have around. THE REMOTE CONTROL: Female. Ha! You probably thought it would be male, but consider this: It easily gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know which buttons to push, he just keeps trying. Have a good one my luvlies xxx

    Thursday Sermon

Bishop And The Ass A village vicar wanted to raise money for his church and on being told that there was a fortune in horse racing, decided to purchase a horse and enter it in the races. However, at the local auction, the going price for horses was so high that he ended up buying a donkey instead. He figured that since he had it, he might as well go ahead and enter it in the races. To his surprise, the donkey came in third! The next day the local paper carried this headline: VICARS ASS SHOWS. The Vicar was so pleased with the donkey that he entered it in the race again, and this time it won. The paper read: VICARS ASS OUT IN FRONT. The local Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the Vicar not to enter the donkey in another race. The paper headline read: BISHOP SCRATCHES VICAR'S ASS. This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the Vicar to get rid of the donkey. The Vicar decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent. The paper headline the next day read: NUN HAS BEST ASS IN TOWN. The Bishop fainted. When he came around he informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey, so she sold it to a farmer for ten pounds The next day the headline read: NUN SELLS ASS FOR A TENNER!. This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back the donkey, lead it to the plains, and let it go. Next day, the headline in the paper read: NUN ANNOUNCES HER ASS IS WILD AND FREE. The Bishop was buried the next day. :swoon:
