I have lodged my student visa subclass500 on 9th November 2022.Later on I was asked to do repeat x-ray and sputum culture test and found that I had completely healed from TB.Even though all the required documents have been submitted, Bupa Medical says the case is referred to Australian TB expert medical panel(EMP). I have already waited for 6 months. Does anyone know how much time EMP takes to reach a decision?

I have lodged my student visa subclass500 on 10 May 2018 from Bangladesh. For abnormal x-ray, they arranged sputum culture test and I was an active TB. I took treatment in accordance with DHA and my medical health status was updated by panel clinic on 20th March, 2019. After that, immi account shows no action required under the health assessment bar. And It will be exactly 12 months that status has not been changed. Bupa Medical says the case is referred to Australian TB expert medical panel. Does anyone know how much time they might take further for this assessment despite of completing the treatment?

TB declaration for cured TB in incoming passenger card
Harika posted a topic in Working and Skilled Visas
Dears, I received the 189 skilled migration PR visa and we will be travelling to Australia in 2 days. But my husband go treated and cured from tuberculosis before we applied and got the visa. He has signed the form 815 undertaking also in this regard before the visa was granted. Now my question is, because he already got cured does he need to tick N for the question "Do you have TB" question in the incoming passenger card while we enter Australia? Or since TB stays inactive in the body, does he need to select Y? I believe someone from the forum would have gone through this situation. If yes, then kindly share your experience and views which might help us.- 1 reply
