Anyone who has lodged for 489 Visa (state-sponsored)?? Let's try and assess the timelines here for grant. We lodged for 489 visa on 04th Sept and got a CO assigned on 04th Oct who asked us to upload PCCs. We did that on 11th Oct. No revert on grant after that. Anyone else here??

I noticed from https://www.sa.gov.au/topics/energy-and-environment/water/rainwater-tanks and http://onkaparingacity.com/onka/home/az_listing/rainwater_tanks.jsp that" New houses built in South Australia are now required to install a rainwater tank of at least 1000 litres. The tank must be plumbed into the toilet, to a water heater or to all cold water outlets in the laundry, and the inlet and overflow must be fitted with mosquito proof screens.Rainwater tank The same rules apply to new extensions or alterations with an area greater than 50m2 that include a toilet, water heater or laundry cold water outlet." Hope this will help you guys who just came to Adeliade or SA and trying to buy a house. Please also reply if u can find a cheaper one. cheers,

Hey, So I’m planning on moving to Adelaide early December on a working holiday visa. Does anyone know the best way to find work. In the city, winery’s? Although I haven’t moved yet I just wanted some advice how other people had gone on doing the working visa in Adelaide, how hard or easy it was. Thanks in advance everyone.

Hello all, im planning on moving to Australia to be with my partner around early December. I haven’t applied for any visa yet however I’m unsure if it’s best to come on the working holiday visa and apply for the 801 temporary while I’m there or apply for the 801 and come on that. Has anyone apply for the 801 very early into the working holiday visa? How long would it take to process? Thanks for the help! -

Hi All, We lodged 489 visa on Sept 04th 2017 for South Australia. A case officer was assigned on Oct 04th asking for PCC. We uploaded all documents on Oct 11. Please help us assess the timeline for grant. Anyone else here applied for 489 visa? -
south-australia electrical license accepted in queensland??

I have been here 2 months now, finally sorted my trade cert , got my blue card , done my cpr and low voltage rescue , i have my restricted license and now i cannot get work because it will take another 3 months to get my full license. does a south australia license still only have to converted? does anyone know the costs involved? is this route worth doing? If i do not get work soon , i will have to take my family back to UK because the savings is running low . Please help!!!
