  5. Hi All After spending ages, collating all the information that I need for the TRA, I have decided that it would be better to use an Agent, as I have missing information, Apprenticeship papers and many other things. I would much prefer to do the TRA myself, but I know that it probably wont go through. I had a long chat with an Agent from Emigration Solutions today, who was very understanding and spent ages with me on the phone and is willing to check out my case before going for my TRA. They appear to be quite reasonable. I was wondering if anyone else had used these guys and if so how did you find them. Any feed back would be greatfully appreciated.

    workforce solutions

Has anyone gone over to Australia with the employment agency workforce solutions(WS)? Have been offered a job on 457 in Mackay. WS say they will help find a rental and school for the kids etc. It all sounds really good(too good to be true), are they as helpful as they say they are? Or am I just being too skeptical(worked for agencies in britain before) and should trust that they are not full of false promises just to get me there. The impression I get is that they take a lot of the pressure off us, which is a big reason to go with them. The money is ok and the job sounds great. Any info/feedback would be appreciated
  9. Hi everyone! I currently work in solutions design for a 3PL transport provider and have spent the last 7 years in network planning/transport design. I just wondered if anyone had any leads on agencies/ employers to approach especially around Sydney. I'll be hitting the usual suspects like DHL but if there are any specific companies anyone could suggest, that would be a great help! Cheers Clare

    workforce solutions

hi folks, just a wee thread about WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS, i have just returned from brisbane with my family after a 2 week reccie of the area, loved it, great people,(thanx to all at the gold coast meet on sunday. took away some great info... amazing how much u learn in just a couple of hours!!!) , great weather and wot a lifestyle. fantastic.. anyway back to the issue in hand . as you may know i had an interview with WS in rocklea in south brisbane and was to go the new Cummins garage for an interview, from what colin at WS said it was the best thing since sliced bread and brand new(sounded too good to be true, but i took his word on it) so i met up with colin and the office and the whole family went to the garage...!!!! WELL.......did colin live up to his word i hear you ask??? DAMNED RIGHT HE DID!!! WOW wot a place, everything he said was true, had a great tour of the place and as colin said ultra modern, i loved it. i had an interview and got the job..woohoo.... that was on the friday so over the weekend we searched for houses outside of brisbane as we didnt want to live in the city, we really couldnt find anywhere that we felt was right , sprinfield lakes was nice .. but not for us, looked at forest lakes and again didnt quite fit the bill, the only place we really liked was halpine lakes and north lakes (north side of brissie) it felt right.. not really any different to the other places , but just had a feeling it was right, but too far from the job. so with a heavy heart but an honest head on .. i had to decline the job.... boohoo!!.. but it was the right move. but have been offered jobs up there so its not all bad... the reason im writing this is cos WS had some heavy stuff written about it from lots of people basically acussing them of not doing wot they say they would.. all i can say is that even though i wasnt going down their normall route (as im 136 visa) but WS couldnt be any more helpfull, a spade was a spade and thats it... straight talk and no BS.. its true that if you are 147 visa then WS pay you and then the company after a year.. but hey thats the price you pay for sponcered visa.. so if you want a job then im pretty sure they can help... colin can be contacted on 07 3875 0010 ... please note that this is my own personal experience and i did say that if they where crap then id tell you.. and them... but the sorted me out no probs... just a pitty we couldnt find anywhere that "felt" right for us in the area... im afraid its northlakes or bust for us ..lol good luck all john, marie and the kids:yes:

  12. I am getting alot of requests from members on here for clarification on who we are because of the unique status we have re the Workplace Agreement. I am not a Migration Agent, or Lawyer, but merely the Head of Operations for Workforce Solutions here in Europe. Please send me your queries re jobs, the 457 Visa, or the Permanent Placement Role we have. I will give you my personal opinion, although please refer to an Agent etc for the official line. Best Regards, Richard Richard Thomas Head Of European Operations, Workforce Solutions (QLD) Pty
