Hi everyone, I am preparing to lodge 175/176. I am in the process of getting my documents certified. I am worried about those documents which are printouts of soft copies/emails. For eg., payslips, emails and even ACS assessment letter. These are either scan copies received by email or internet printouts. How to get these certified - because there really are no originals. Regards, Joy

De facto partner visa statutory declarations - soft or hard copy?
roseberry posted a topic in Visa Chat
Hi everyone! People on this forum have been immensely helpful to me in the past and I was wondering if any of you lovely chaps could help me oiut again I am due to submit an onshore defacto partner visa application in just over a month, but we are still collecting stat. decs. from everyone. We have people all over Australia, and in Canada and the UK, writing them for us! However none of the information that I have seen makes it clear whether we have to provide orignal hard copies, or if we can provide scans, of these declarations. If it has to be originals we are in trouble as it will take quite a while for some of them to reach us through the post! If anyone had any advice that would be great, All the best, Rose- 1 reply

Aaargh! I've just read in some info sent by the shipping co. that soft toys are permitted but will received 'special attention' by customs and might even be sujected to gamma radiation!!! DS has loads & so many of them have sentimental significance but I don't know what to do now. I don't get it, how are they differnt from clothes or soft furnishings, I mean what's the difference between a teddy and a cushion??? Can anyone shed any light on this? Jules x

One thing I really admire in Oz is that if you are a lazy shirker you almost starve, I hated the dole and false disability lazy buggers in the UK and they really should take a leaf out of the ossies book....not work no money!!
