Residence visa Class 886- different occupation selected to the experience gained
Guest posted a topic in Visa Chat
Hello again, I am applying for the State sponsored residence visa- 886. Mu nominated occupation is on the eligibility list... Life Scientist but my experience is in Food technology and Quality assurance (food industry) that is more close to 'Chemist',which is also on the list... To get my degree assessed again is going to take ages... I am afraid I might be too late to apply for sponsorship. Therefore want to know if its ok to apply for sponsorship as is... As my degree is the same... Or is there any way to convince Vetassess to assess my degree only which is quicker... ?? Help!!! Thanks, Chaitali -
Just wondering about worst case scenarios etc, but has anyone ever been 'pooled' and then awarded a visa during the 2 year waiting time? Have done a search and the only example I can find is someone going into the 'pool' as an error and then being rescued! Feeling very up and down at the moment as concerned that Mrs Imp may not have enough experience to get the 5 partner points and that we will be stranded on 115 points and my skill is not on any of the State Skilled Occupation Lists! Bugger bugger bugger. (anyway, I do kinda like the uk, honest I do, would not mind staying one little bit!) Crikey this whole process is sooooo up and down!!!!!
