Hi this is 1 of 4 posts regarding a visa for my parents to join me in Australia. There seems to be lots of options but none of which fit very well! One really good option would be to get an ENS visa for a corporate accountant (on the ENSOL list). However, although Dad has worked as this for years he doesn't have a degree and is a chartered company secretary rather than a chartered accountant. Has anyone any idea if this would be sufficient or had any dealings with the accountant bodies in Australia. Thanks, any help is really appreciated.
Hi  Just want to say what a fab site this is, so much advice its mindboggling. Can anyone help me? My OH and I (40 & 42) are still in the 'what should we do?' stage of things. I have worked for 13 years in the NHS as a qualified medical secretary. Does anyone out there know if my jobs skills or diploma (Medical Secretary Diploma (AMSPAR)) would be of any use down under. I don't think my AMSPAR diploma is recognised in Oz. My OH sells and designs racking systems for warehouses using CAD (but has no qualifications for this, just years of doing the job) and again not sure if his skils would help him (though he could sell a grain of sand in the Sahara!). Any advice or help would be great Thank you. Kaz xx
