So we are serious about moving over to Perth (for the second time-first time we had no kids and lasted 6 months as we discovered I fell pregnant and I wanted to go home!) That aside, we are serious about the move this time, our eldest is 5 in april and should be starting Primary in the UK in August. We need to make all decision on where to live based around a good primary school. Can anyone give us any advice or experiences with primary schools in Perth? We would like to be near the beach but don't want to be too far south (Rockingham is too far south) and again not too far North (no further than Wangara) Price of property isn't an issue so don't let that stop you mentioning places. Thanks in advance!

Hi I've been reading some really useful posts on here re jabs for children in Australia. We're headed to Perth and I just wanted to ask your opinion... I've got three little ones 8, 3 and 1 1/2. They all need Hep B. They've all had chickenpox, but there's no GP record. Is it true I have to have all 3 vacinated anyway? My 8 year old may have missed a few of the newer jabs. Should I try to get them done before we leave or is it best to wait until we register with Medicare and get whatever they need then? What about adults - should we also get any jabs in Oz or here first? Also I've got conflicting advice in terms of schools - would I have to have this done before school/kindy registration or is that not so essential for Perth schools? Thanks for all your help!
