    SAP skill and ACS assesment

Hi, I am SAP Functional Consultant with non-IT background degree. Just wondering how come SAP functional fall under IT, in my company people with SAP knowledge called as management consultant or bussiness analyst. IT people are those related to infrastructure, network, database, programmer which we called them SAP Technical Consultant people. Anyone know what is the. ASCO code for SAP Functional which not required ACS? I failed ACS assesment due non-IT graduate and required RPL which to me complex and not really map to my SAP job. Anyone can help either with ACS RPL or without? Thank you.
  3. Hi all, This is my first post on this forum, so apologies if I have broken any forum rules here, but here goes.... Myself and my girlfriend want to migrate to Melbourne as her mother lives in Dromana. We have applied for visas under my gfs marketing masters qualification, with me as a de facto partner, which was going fine until marketing was removed from the skill shortage list in June of this year. The visa process was around 1 year through and going well, but since June we have been stopped in our tracks. Our Melbourne based solicitor now feels our only option is to apply for residency under my skills (with my gf as de facto) which is where the fun really begins. I am an SAP Basis Architect and have been in this specialist field for over 8 years (I’m 30), holding down 4 consultancy based jobs during that time. However I do not have any qualifications to my name, other than A-levels! I've never have any issues finding employment in the UK, my CV and experience speaks for itself, but I'm concerned how I'll get on when applying for our Australian visas. 2 questions I'm really asking here; 1. Does anyone have any experience or know of someone who does, in migrating to Australia with SAP skills (especially Basis)? 2. Has anyone have a similar lack of qualifications to me, but still managed to be assessed successfully by PASA? Many thanks for reading my post and I would welcome any information that you feel may be beneficial to our application. Yours in hope.... Gary

  6. Hi First of all, thanks to all who are contributing to these forums which is of immense help for beginners like us. I am a SAP functional consultant certified by SAP. I do not have a MCA or IT educational qualifications. But i do have 12 years total experience with SAP experience of around 4.5 years. Can anyone guide me on which category my profile will belong in SOL and is there good chance for me to get a PR? I am in Melbourne in 457 visa in SAP practice for the past 1.5 years Thanks and Regards Mahesh
  7. Hi All, Firstly what a great forum - really glad I stumbled accross this today... I am just starting to look into applying to the ACS for assessmant as a SAP proffessional and am not sure exactly what that entails. I have 9 years experience working as an IT Proffesional (Functional Consultant, PM, Business Analyst), the last 4 years have been working with eProcurement/Purchasing systems interfacing with SAP modules (MM/FICO mainly).... I believe I need to have references for 12 month specifically with the technology in question. so most of my work has been managing the testing and interfaces between 2 systems.. Integration testing and making sure the expected data/resulte are passed between Procurement system and relevant SAP module (and vica-versa) ..but I am by no means a SAP developer/Configurer but have a solid understanding in the technology. I was just wondering.. Is there an actual examination that needs to be done? - If so is this very technical, as I may need to read up and refresh on certain areas... - Are Proffessional IT qualifications such as SAP awarded to people who Project Manage end-end implementations with SAP as the back-end ERP system. sorry, one more question... If succesful, is it possible to get a bridging Visa until a skilled Visa comes through, I have 5 months left on a working holiday visa currently? Apologies for the slightly long and techy post but hopefully someone out there can help me out! Thanks a lot in advance. Max :mask:

  10. Hi everyone. Me and my family have been discussing on and off over the past month or so emigrating to Oz. The more we discuss it the more it seems like we should go for it. We are lokking at attending the Oz Expo in Leeds this March, which will hopefully answser alot of our questions/concerns. Friends of ours who recently emigrated also recommended this website as a place to gather lots of information from people who have already gone through the experience. My biggest concern would be getting a job, so i just thought i'd post a new thread in here, asking if anyone has any information on the demand for SAP Basis Administrators. Any feedback greatly appreciated. Regards, Sean.

    SAP Specialist

Is anyone on here working in Australia on SAP? My husband does Implementation and Data Migration. We're struggling to see how we can get a 175 visa because he has a Management Consultancy in the UK. The Visa companies don't understand that his job title changes each time he takes a new contract. Has anyone else encountered this kind of problem. Jo
