  1. Hi peeps, I need some help please from you experts! My boyfriend and I have watched the SMPs for the past year and waited in hope that my job as a Sales Rep / Business Development would come up on one of them. We noticed yesterday that Technical Sales Rep is on the SA SMP list, this is our preferred state as we have family there so are very excited! However, we are a bit confused as to whether this covers my job .... I work in B2B sales for a large international airline, recruiting new business partners for their loyalty program. On the description for "Technical Sales Rep nec" we're not sure what the nec (not elsewhere classified) means. Any ideas??? Does this mean it covers everything that is not on any of the other Sales Rep classifications e.g. the one specific to medical/pharmaceutical/industrial?? Please help we're so confused ....

  6. Hiya, When I lived in England I was an Area Sales Manager, but Avon Australia didn't have any jobs going for me, so I couldn't just do a transfer. However I have decided to start up as an Avon recruiter on a self employed basis. A colleague of mine left the same job and went out on her own and is doing rather well so I thought I would give it a go. The self employed, Sales Leader has only just started here and I have five years experience so I might be ok. lol If nothing else it will help me meet more people. The commission level is better here than in the UK as you can earn up to 50%. It doesn't matter where you live as long as it is in Australia, as I can sign anyone up anywhere. So if you are interested please give me a shout either on here or send me an email by clicking my username. Thanks April xx
  7. Hi all! We are new to this site, and thank god we have found it in time! Our house has sold in the uk, and the people want us out in three weeks! Then we get on the plane to Brisbane with a lump of money and a lot of dreams! We have been planning this for years but are still in shock that its all happening. Can anybody give us insight to how I would stand in landing a Sales Rep job out there, and also has anyone heard of a company called Free Spirit? They have advised me that I just need to get me and my family out there, (wife two kids aged 3 & 5) land a job offer and they will sort the sponsorship out for me. Its such a big risk, as we have no degrees, only 7 years experience in field sales. Any information at all on this would be great. We arent look for permanent residency, just a chance to start a new life as the UK sucks. Hopefully I will hear some news from you guys soon.
