  1. Hi, I have a question about the company reference letter for skill assessment. My situation is my offical job duties from HR will not exactly match with ANCSCO, so I request HR not to include the job description in the letter (but all others information that VET require are included) and I will ask my direct supervisor to sign another letter regarding my job duties on it, heres my questions: 1) Do I need to write this letter in statutory declaration format or just another company reference letter signed by my supervisor? 2) Do I need to give reason to VET about why my job duties did not included in the reference letter by HR? 3) I working in the same company for over 10 years but my direct supervisor now I am working with is only 2 years, is it a problem to recognise my past experience by him? Thank yo so much for the help and I will be very appreciated if anyone could give me an advise to solve this problem.
  2. I am processing for Skill assessment under engineering Australia. I have submitted Self Declaration from one of my co-worker while submitting the document. I got the below message from assessor " Please note that affidavits are not accepted in lieu of 5 point duty statement from the company. You are therefore advised to provide the 5 points duty statement from the company" So now Question is..... 1. As per my company policy, I will only get the reference letter after leaving the company as they are liable to provide only for EX-employee. HR person is ready to give me on email why they cant give the letter. Also, they have given my letter which includes my tenure and designation with working hours. So can I go ahead and submit that letter and attach an email from HR? 2. Why did EA not accept my Declaration? Do I need to submit another declaration? Please, someone, help me here. How I would process further.
  3. Hi, My current organization does not provide employment letter/ Reference letter. Now I'm left with the option of a Statutory Declaration. Can someone please help me understand: Is Statutory Declaration good enough to convince ACS in order to get a +ve skill assessment? Really appreciate if anyone could share the Statutory Declaration template (w.r.t to Indian standards)? Whom do I need to get it signed from?   4. Hello, I have just started the process of filling for Australian PR and at the very first stage. As I have understood, I need to collect previous employer's reference letter mentioning roles and responsibilities along with other employment details. Can someone please help verify the draft version? Please help correct if there are any mistakes or add if something is missing. I will ask the HR to give this on company's letter head (I will try my best as now I am back with the same company ) <DRAFT REFERENCE LETTER> This is to certify that <NAME> was an employee of <COMPANY>, at <LOCATION> and was employed from START DATE until END DATE. <NAME> was employed on a Full Time basis as a Senior Software Engineer.   6. Hi, I am gathering info for my employment reference letter. I have been working for my current employers for 9 years. My job title is Web Applications Developer. I am planning on applying for an assessment under the ANZSCO code of 261312 Developer Programmer. I have drafted the list of duties but am wondering how detailed this needs to be? Do I need to go into detail of the languages and technologies used (VB.Net, SQL, ASP.Net, Visual Studio etc), or just the basics for example "Writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing and supporting applications using programming languages and development tools", "Creation and maintenance of the Information System's in-house developed applications according to a pre-determined brief." and so on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
  7. Hi all members My 3rd post but no reply from anyone:embarrassed: Indeed it is very helpful for a new-comer like me in this forum having friends like you guys. I will definitely bank on that Model one i.e Network Security Specialist is 2231-79 (nec) as in my current posting (Assit Manager IT), i have the responsibilities, you can say Manager Network Security-cum-Network Administrator(Hope you guys get my point). But my current posting is from last 11 months. And i will apply for assessment hopefully when i complete my 12 months. Also plz clear one more point for me that is as due to organization nature i am sure that i w'not get any references (payslips, joining letter not an issue). How i will manage this situation?
