Hi This question has possibly been asked before, but I have had no luck searching the forum. I need help in redirecting my post to Oz. I know that I can set up a redirection service with Royal mail, that is the easy bit. My issue is that I don't have an address in Oz to forward to. I'll be staying in temporary accommodation for the first month, and hopefully will move into a longer term rental after that. I've been told by Oz post office that I can't set up a PO Box from over here, you need to do it in person in an Australian post office. Using relatives over here to receive the mail and send it to me in Oz, is not a viable option unfortunately. Any one out there faced a similar problem and managed to find a solution?

Hi all and happy new year, NOt sure if this is the correct forum for this question, but hoping someone can point me in the right direction if not. We are due to head out to oz in just under 8 weeks and we are now busy trying to sort out all our personal affairs in the UK, with regards to mail we would like to arrange a redirection of UK mail to Australia but we are not sure if we can obtain a PO box in australia from the UK as we don't have an address to redirect to as of yet. Has anyone done this, is it easy to do? Thanks any assistance would be appreciated Alison

Hi, Used TCP over 10yrs ago when backpacking and just wondering if anybody has used them as a redirection from UK when they first moved as I know the Oz post have to see you in person so no good for us? Plus looking at their website is seems they only set up one persons name so anything in our joint names not sure what would happen to it?:confused: Thanks

We will be moving over to Melbourne very soon and will need to redirect our mail. We don't have anyone in the UK to send it to until we get an address sorted out in Oz so we thought maybe we can set up a post box in the post office in Melbourne from here in the UK. Does anyone know if this is possible? Does anyone have some advice on this? Thanks TSs

Hi, Has anyone used the Royal Mail redirection service when moving to OZ? We can't decide whether to get our mail sent to my parents and get them to send it on, or use the overseas service with Royal Mail. Has anyone experience of this, and if so, what did you do? Has the overseas service worked for anyone, and if so how long does it take for you to get the mail? Thanks, the jp's

Hi guys. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to set up a post office box in Oz before leaving the UK? Also, is it possible to redirect mail from the UK to Oz? Has anyone done this and was it expensive?
