hello, I am qualified and practicing lawyer of Pakistan. I started practice in March, 2014 but came to Melbourne, Australia in August 2015 on student visa. I've finished my Masters of Professional Accounting in june, 2017. At the moment I'm on post graduate work visa and doing professional year. I am struggling to gain maximum points for my permanent residency file. As its getting hard to get PR for accountants so i'm thinking to go for my LLB Degree assessment also. now, my question is, where should i go for my qualification assessment as an overseas lawyer? i'm confused by the different assessment bodies of different states. Is it possible to apply for assessment in victoria and then go for immigration in Canberra? please give me advice and share any link of degree assessing bodies or anything like that .
Hello Everyone hope your doing good. I have a little concern which has been bothering me for a while now regarding the Australian Comp Society (ACS) skills assesment. Im planning on a regional residency application and I seem to have hit a road block with my qualifications. I have about 6.5 years experience as a Support Engineer and the only qualification i have post school is a Diploma in Hardware and Networking from a small college in Sri Lanka, now my question is as follows : Do the qualifications assessed by ACS need to be from a big shot university or college (or government one) or is it ok to apply with what i have ? I dont want to spend money and get a negative skills assesment just because my qualification is not from a star class college so if anyone has any info it would be very much appriciated.
Hi, I just received invitation in the march 24 round. But my qualification assessment done from IPA has expired on March 20th .. However my experience assessment is still valid till may. Can anyone please tell me the exact requirement for lodging 189 visa? Whether only the valid experience letter will do? Saikat
