Is someone here widely travelled enough to compare these three airlines? I am specially interested in reviews from single, adult travellers who don't have to mind kids. Even if you haven't travelled all three, feel free to chip in with whatever you have. I'll try to consolidate all the reviews so we have a clearer picture.

Just havin a little panic, now we're due to fly out on Sunday, ( one way ) We're approx 2kg per suitcase ( x5 ) overweight, and was wondering if anyone had got away with paying the charges. Not sure how much Quantas would charge us if we were pulled on it. Would be gratefull for anyones experiences regarding this. Chris x

Hello, has anyone flew Qatar? Last time (a few years ago) I travelled to Oz with Emirates and now they do not have any seats available until mid February so I bought the tickets (still return tickets) with Qatar. I read somewhere that they are similar to Emirates but I would like to hear some personal experiences. I am travelling next week.

I have been checking on flights for my mum to come out next month, i went to the Flightcentre and Qatar airlines are coming up with the best prices, has anyone flown with these, are they good? My mum has never done a long haul flight before and she hates flying and is going have to do the trip on her own out here, she is in her early 70's. Please put my mind at rest as i need to pay for the flight before 29 Dec 09 Thanks Tania x:confused:

Hi all... For those of you following my saga with my Qatar 'certificate of good conduct'.... i have had some good news ... The Qatar embassy in London have now found my UK police checks and sent them to me....(so at least these have not got lost) and these are now on their way to Oz as i type... BUT... still no Qatar police notice.... i'm holding my breath...so they had better hurry or else i am going to turn a nice shade of blue again! i'll keep you posted... min x:wubclub:
