Adam W posted a topic in Careers and VacanciesHello Everyone, I am seeking a number of qualified auto techs for a large car retail client. They have many dealerships across the major cities of Australia and New Zealand. We are particularly interested in anyone who has worked in a dealership / franchise with Porsche or VW. Someone with 2 years post apprentice experience in a European dealership will also be considered. What's on offer? A sponsored visa, initial accommodation and flight assistance. There are very good hourly $$ rates, on the job training and team achievement bonuses paid monthly. These roles are genuine and open now. We have placed a good number of people with this client and some are happy to provide reference. Please PM me if you would like to hear more. Many thanks all. Adam
Hi, I'd really appreciate some guidance on whether or not to import my Porsche Boxster with me when I move to Australia next year. I have all the import costs calculated, but am struggling to find out what modifications would be needed to the car to bring it up to the Australian standards and also what impact it would have on the future value of the car if it was an import when I come to sell it. I've seen similar cars advertised at Porsche dealers in Sydney at about $100K which means it makes sense to import it, but if then the car is only worth for example 70% as it's an import, then it's not worthwhile. Any help would be much appreciated. Richard
HI Has any one out there got a ball park, stab in the dark, rough cost price of what it would cost to import my beloved boxter over to OZ. Its worth around £12K and i can just imagine driving around Perth with the roof down enjoying the breeze unlike here where ya lucky to get the roof down half a dozen times!!! Just want to know if its worth the cost of importing or loosing money on selling it? Any one who can help with import fees or info pls shout! thanks in advance M&L
I have an old porsche that I've had for years but alas I've got to leave it here no room in the container to much furniture and kids toys. Are there old porsches out there ? and how much ? A new one is very expensive and by the time I've bought my boat and a mansion sorry ignore that my wife has slapped my face and told me to take off my rose tinted glasses. In reality its a dingy and a caravan i wont have any money left to buy a new one. So im hoping to buy an old porsche and do it up in my spare time. :biglaugh::biglaugh: Mark , Jane, Becky (20) , Kelly (13) and Adam (5)
