  1. BIAB known as Brew In a Bag, is a new method of full grain brewing without tons of equipment and just as good. It will save you loads of money and produce beers far far better than a kit homebrew. Minimal equipment is needed and it really is easy. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK. http://www.aussiehomebrewer.com/forum/index.php?autocom=recipedb

  4. I use one in Straftord upon Avon and it is spotlessly clean and the the ale and food is excellent.... Leading pub chain JD Wetherspoon is to slash prices on some drinks and food, offering a pint of beer for less than £1, down to 1989 prices, the company revealed. lasange and baked spud plus salad £2.99 The company, which operates 713 pubs across the UK, said the price reductions on some beer, bottled lager, wine and spirits will run "indefinitely".
  5. Hi all I just arrived in Sydney last Thursday. Weather has been pretty good so far, but yesterday wasn't the best.... in fact there was torrential rain on Friday night! So far its been good fun, but a lot to take in. I will be starting a full-time job hopefully in about 10 days so I've just been wandering about...its a lot to take in. Although I'm enjoying myself, I am feeling a tad homesick and lonely... been out with some folk from work which helped though. If there are any other people out there in the same boat and would like to meet up for a beer or coffee please send me an e-mail: richiestruthers@hotmail.com cheers Rico
  6. After 4 months in oz, haleluyah, had my first English pint, Tina's first half pint. For anyone not in oz yet the only drink you can buy in a pub is called a scooner. This is basically around half a pint. Well today, after a drive around we came across this English pub serving proper pints of beer. Haleluyah. You can sit outside the pub and the view will take your breathe away. You can see for miles upon miles of glorious aussie countryside, with the sea further in the distance. Montville itself is a lovely aussie village with queenslanders all around, but sod that we found a pub that serves pints of beer. Joking aside, Montville a very pleasant place if you've the time to go there. eddie:smile::smile:
