WE have a pine cabin bed with mattress from argos that is free to anyone who will collect. it is still in good condition. Thought i would see if anyone in poms migh need it even if its just till their stuff arrives. We are in bahrs srub near windaroo. so if anyone is interested please pm me. we will only be keeping it for 1 week. As its in the way. Rachel.

Hi, I have been reading lots about people having issues with wooden furniture. I have plain untreated pine furniture, I thought I would just varnish it. Has any one done that? Did it get through, even with a DIY varnish job? The other thing I was thinking , one of the pieces of furniture is my daughter's bed, that if I couldn't bring the bed I wuold bring the mattress. Do they have issues with mattresses in customs? This whole moving/ storage subject is getting me worried, I don't want to foot a hefty bill when I get to the otherside for something I could have prevented this side. Cheers, for any feedback. Hi Trace here.. Does anybody know if we can take our lounge furniture ie Coffee Table TV Unit and Corner Unit Phone Table its solid pine ..but its been waxed in an Antique pine colour.Would this be ok.Anybody come up against this ?any help would be greatly appreciated:)
