  1. Has anyone applied to Vetassess for the Personnel Officer occupation under thier CIPD Post Grad Qualifications? I was looking at doing it but was advised that even though they are accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority as a Level 7 Post Grad qualification, therefore higher than a bachelor degree, it would not be considered as equivalent to an australian bachelors degree...................I was somewhat surprised by this so wondered whether anyone had tried it....... :arghh:

    Railway personnel

I just thought I would mention to guys who are affiliated with the railways that the Railways Union Holiday accomodation exists. We have belonged to them for years membership is approx $50 a year dependant on states. There are many benefits to membership i.e. cheap entertainment tickets etc. You do need to be sponsored by an existing 2 members and put before the Board for approval. To hire a 2 bedroom house in say Hobart for example we pay $30 for two per night, fully furnished and they are stunning homes. We have 2 in Hobart, 2 Launceston, Devonport, St. Helens etc. We have used them all over the country and never been disappointed.. All they ask is for you to bring your own bed linen and leave the house as spotless as you found it. Benefits also include many events including Christmas parties for the children which are heavily subsidised, golfing and sporting events. It is an excellent way of meeting people as well. Membership will allow you to book interstate including New Zealand. For those in WA WARI Western Australian Railways Institute (INC) WARI Western Australian Railways Institute (INC) Example... Busselton Margaret River Albany Port Denison sleeps 8 NSWRI - Holiday Accommodation Cabins start at $245 for 6 people for a week which is excellent value for a holiday. Queensland Railway Institute offer a wide selection including the wonderful Magnetic Island. It does give members a wonderful opportunity of seeing Australia for amazingly low accomodation prices. Homes are available in: Victoria South Australia Queensland New Zealand Tasmania New South Wales Eastern States Holiday Homes Susie

Hi guys im just wondering if anyone has any experience with this company? i emailed their recruitment department about registering to help find and employer and recieved an email from thier relocation department here in the UK stating that theres a very good chance they will find us an employer but that the process costs £2250? Jamie is very sceptical and has said no way but i just wanted your advice aswell? should we steer clear or is worth this money? thanx kelly
