  3. hi i was wanting some advice on how to go about emigrating and the costs involved, im 25 and it would just be me moving. i have 7 years experience and currently work in a main dealer bodyshop as a met technician- stripping and refitting all makes of accident damaged cars - i have no experience of panel beating/spraying or mechanical ie suspension etc. Do the bodyshops in australia have the same set up ie stripper-fitters, panel beaters, sprayers or do the panel beaters strip themselves? how do you go about getting someone to sponsor you is it better to use a recruitment agency, if it doesnt work out do you have to pay anything? How long does it take? Is there jobs available for stripper/fitters in oz, what do you need and what does it cost? Is there places where you can house share, as with just being me going would prefer to live with other people? Has anyone emigrated to work in a bodyshop was it good or bad, would prefer to hear both sides if possible? lots of questions i know thanks for any replies.

Panel Beater AQF3 (AQFIII) Recommend company

I have just completed my AQFIII for Panel Beating, it was very easy to do.... Australian Skill Assessment dealt with it for me. I live in Ireland at the moment but without a qualification i was stuffed, so Australian Migrations (Kildare and Brisbane) put me in touch with Australian Skill Assessment company who done the rest for me.... I will not lie to you there was alot of paperwork to prove my competency and nearly 4hrs of a Web Interview at 5am Ireland time, but overall was worth it. Totally recommend them!! ATA is OK for UK and Ireland but if your going to OZ then what better than to have an Oz qualification. Was cheaper too, not by much, but save where you can........ 14. Happy New Year to you all, I haven't been on here for a while, because of one thing and another! However, our Migration Agent, changed our 175 Visa to a 176 Visa back in October and applied to the State of Victoria (that's where we want to go). My OH is a Panel Beater/Vehicle Assessor (Estimator). However, to date, we have not heard a response! :arghh: Is this usual? It's been almost 2 months! Anyone out there who could answer my questions would be much appreciated.
