  1. Hi, My brother-in-law is a bored 18 (sorry, I got it wrong again Dad!) year old visiting us and would like to meet up with someone of a similar age to hang out. He has the big3 theme park tickets and is interested in bikes:jimlad:, beach :cool:or just having fun:biglaugh:. Unfortunately we are a bit too boring for him . If there is anyone out there interested in showing him what we have for 19 year olds on the Coast, please let me know asap. He will be going back to the UK at the end of September if nothing attracts his attention here .

Hi guys!!! we're new to this site so a little rusty! we are looking to make the big move to Oz. We have friends living in Hope Island, Santa Barbara, we've been looking at areas surrounding this and Pacific Pines keeps popping its head up, does anyone have any info they can share with us about this area or even suggest other areas to look at? we are a young family of four both children under 3 so looking for a family orientated area. kind regards

    Back on the Gold Coast!

Hi, not been on for ages, so just a quick recap! Moved to the GC September 07; I started to feel a bit unsettled, and hubby had no work, so we decided to go back to England in June 09 for a few months, to see how we felt about everything. Planned to come back Jan 2010, but decided early that we did want to be in Australia, and came back to the Gold Coast September 10th. Now we're officially boomerang/ping pong poms! Moved back to Pacific Pines, and my 6 year old son is at Park Lake school (Prep), with my 5 year old daughter starting there in January. My youngest is nearly 3, and is at kindy one day a week. Hubby is a brickie but currently driving taxis, I don't work yet. Not been on since we went to the UK, wanted to detach myself from Aus whilst making our decision, and I feel a bit out of it since being in the UK, so if anyone fancies a coffee and a chat it would be great to meet up.
