Hi guys! I am a Nursing student and I am planning to apply for skilled visa as soon as I finish my studies. In order to secure visa process I would like to get superior English result. Can you please tell me if anyone succeeded to gain all "A" in OET? Is it possible? I prefer this one as it is specific to nursing, but I have some doubts if it is possible to get all As. Or maybe PET is a better choice as it is needed to get more than 79 in all parts which sounds a bit more realistic. Can you please share your experience about these two tests? Thanks!

Hi, Just confirming this for a friend: To claim 25 points for proficient English, does the applicant has to achieve 'B' or higher grade in all modules of OET in one sitting or can this be achieved in two sittings? Thanks!

Hi, :wubclub: I am hoping to move over to Sydney for the end of the year with my husband and Daughter. In order to do this I need to register with the NSW NMB. it states that there are no exceptions to completing an English test either OET or IELTS for any applications from 1/1/09 (even though English is my first language and I am O'level qualified) I have read a couple of threads regarding the tests but can anyone recommend which is the better to go for and pass ? Thanks Cath

Hi through research I found as a nurse (and any health professional) I have to take Occupational english test. However I see some nurses have taken IELTS what's the difference and can you do one or the other? Does anyone know? It might suit to take one over the other in terms of cost etc. I'm in Northern Ireland and have to go to London for OET! Great site!!:jiggy:Catherine
