Hi Im a carpenter and I am looking to sponsor an employee on a 457 visa. A few questions that I am hoping others with experience in this can help me with; Is it possible to sponsor an employee when registered as a sole trader? What forms a neccessary to provide when applying to sponsor online? Any advice or help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Jack
shawankit posted a topic in Visa ChatWA Offlist Nominations in 2009 : Will these be on State Migration Plan? OR will these end up on Cat 5 ? if it does what is the benifit of SS ?
The Department of Immigration and Citizenship recently announced that each State/Territory Government has been allocated a quota of 500 places per year, to nominate applicants with any occupation on the Skilled Occupations List (SOL) under the General Skilled Migration program. NSW has incorporated off-list nomination places into its Skills in Demand Lists. Applications for visa nomination by NSW will only be accepted for occupations published on these lists.
