I'm new on this forum so apologies if this is not the right place to post this thread. Please tell me if it's out of place! Anyway, just on the off chance there is anyone moving back to the UK at the end of August and is looking to furnish a house! We're moving to Perth first week in september and will be selling most of our furniture, washing machine and fridge. It's all as good as new as we just bought it all 5 months ago. Furniture is all from Argos so cheap and cheerful and better again already assembled! If anyone is interested get in touch!

I,m feeling in limbo and a little scared! Anna

I'm 16 this October and I've lived in Australia (Far North Queensland) since I was 12, and I've never really been happy here. So, my Mom agreed to let me go back to England and live with family. I need help about school. I've finished Year 10 and would have done one semester of Year 11 by the 6th of July (my leaving date), but I don't have any GCSE qualifications. I know I'll be starting school in September, and I'll be in Year 11 back in England, but some of my friends who are in England now say they have already done some GCSE? I'm really confused? Can I do my GCSE in Year 11, or will I have to do a course outside of school? Thanks!

PIO Midlands Christmas Party - Tamworth Snowdome
Guest posted a topic in Socialising Hobbies Clubs Sport
Hi All, A few of us on here have been arranging the next midlands meet which we are callling our PIO Midlands Christmas Party which is looking likely to be at: The Tamworth Snowdome on Sunday 7th December, starting time around 11:30/12:00. It will be a family friendly meet and for those lucky enough to heading to Australia in the near future, this could be the last time you see snow for a long while so come along and join in the fun. There are a couple of bars there from which you can watch some of the activities without getting cold and wet, so even if you just want to chill and chat with a beer its not a problem. My last post in the thread “Any Midland Meets Booked?????” details some of the activities available at the Snowdome but if you require any further information please visit the website http://www.snowdome.co.uk/ or feel free to pm me. Regards Martin -
Anyone from the Midlands, fancy meeting up. I am from Derbyshire, near Matlock but dont mind traveling a bit to meet up, if it involves doin it on a ggod day on a bike, even better. Is always good to get together with like minded folk and chew the fat, as put on here.

Hi, If anyone in birmingham or surrounding area is going to have medicals i can recommend handsworth medical centre, they have all the facilities there. I am a nurse and found the medical to be quite basic, bp, weight, bend over and touch your toes (ohh). I didnt even have to get undressed, they let me and hubbie go in together. Any questions feel free to ask. Claire
