  1. Hello, Family and I are coming over to Melbourne on the 17th January and we are looking for some fully furnished accommodation for about 4-6 weeks. I have a couple of places we maybe able to rent, however nothing is confirmed yet so I wanted to see if anybody can recommend anywhere. It will be for 3 adults and one child (11 months old) so we are looking for a 2/3 bedroom property. We are looking for anything along the Mornington Peninsula as that’s where we would like to live long term. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Hayley, James, Elsie and Bella. ps It also has to be pet friendly as we have a dog.

    Thinking of moving to Melboure

Hi There, I am very new to this but here goes...... My husband and I are seriously considering emigrating to Oz with our 2 young children (aged 3 & nearly 7). My husband is a Quantity Surveyor and we've been told we should have no issues visa wise but are struggeling with making the decision on whether to go ahead or not. We love the look of Melbourne but don't know which are the best areas for young families. We are looking into a research trip if we can afford it. Basically I would love to hear from anyone who has made the move or those commited to do so. I am as confident as I can be that we would love life in Oz as we are a very active family who would love more of an outdoors lifestyle as we hate being stuck in in the constant rain, but is it worth leaving our family and friends for? That's the dilema!!!

    State Sponsor in Melboure

Hi I recently obtained my state sponsorship from Victoria. I am aware that i have an obligation to live in Victoria for 2 years. I have applied for many jobs in Melbourne with no luck. I recently have a job offer from Macqaurie Bank in Sydney. Can i get out of my obligation? will the state release me of this. If so, how do i go about getting this done without effecting my PR. Thanks

    Where do i fit best....

Hi everyone!! I'm having a major dilema choosing between Sydney or Melbourne for my working holiday...I know its just a working holiday but i'm hoping to get everything and more out of it I'm so excited! Hopefully i'll apply for a permenant state sponsored skilled visa while i'm out there, but for now its a working holiday! My interests are: horse riding (i LOVE it), music (love that too), doing fun stuff outdoors (exploring, sports, chilling out), shopping, good food, design and fashion.....and all the normal things that average 24 year olds love to do As for a profession, i am a graphic designer who works closely in fashion...so like design and fashion, but am not too arty farty... By the sounds of 'me' where do you think i fit best??? Thanks in advance lovelies. x:biggrin:
  6. Hi Guys and Girls We are coming over in October and just wondered if you would all like a meet up? Just a few ideas I thought Albert Park would be a great meet up point As it has free BBQ's, toilets, grassed area for a game of cricket, footdall as well as one of those huge wooden forts for the kids to play on. Its easy to find as its opp pit lane free parking (or it was) and being in the cbd its central to Geelong, Frankston etc. The 2 weekends we can make it on are the 11th/12th or the 18th/19th. It maybe a little early to start this thing off but its always good to get the ball rolling, and days locked into the dairy! So who's in? and what do you think of choice of venue? happy to go anywhere, we will be based on Phillip island. Hope to see you all soon Geoffrey
