Hello All, I am seeking flat share / house share with other easy going professionals. Thought i would share my experience with you from last night. I went to a psychic evening at a friends house last night. Basically the medium comes in and does sort of mini reading for you. She gets to me and asked if i was moving away, I didnt want to give too much to her so said hoping to yes, she then said she could see lots of boxes outside a pretty cottage. At this point i was a little bit excited, but wondered if you get pretty cottage types in Oz, especially when in an ideal world i want an ocean view:biglaugh: (yeah in my dreams). She said she can see me throwing open the windows and shouting I cant believe we made it and being really really happy there. Now I dont want to read too much into these things but it would be nice to see a light at our ever dampening tunnel. Problem is she also said one of the kids was gonna come home with a pet pig and one of my good friends was going to stab me.:biglaugh: Just thought it was very funny and I would share. Peace out

We are a family of 4 (2 Adults 2 Children) Anticipate moving over to Perth Nov/Dec Have been granted 136 visa's, validated May 2010 and have already received Job offer. Dilema is that we now need to rent a furnished house 3/4 weeks then none furnished ideally for approx 3/6 months. Like the Canning Vale area but would consider other areas. Stayed in Kingsley when we visited and that was also nice but looking at settling in Canning Vale (I think) Can anybody assist, Thanks

We have just emigrated to Sydney and intend to buy a house but in the meantime need to rent. We are finding it relatively easy to either get a very expensive furnished flat on a weekly basis or an unfurnished flat at an economic rent on a 12 month lease (which I gather can be very expensive to get rid of early). We are struggling to find a furnished flat at a mid-level rent for a couple of months. Does anybody know any good websites that might help us out?
