    pre loaded cash cards

Hi,, we are going to visit Tasmania for 2 month & are considering using a preloaded cash card. It will probably be with Travelex . Will we get a good rate of exchange & will we have to pay when we use the ATM machines? If so how much? Kind regards margo
  2. Hi All, Please can some one impart their knowledge. Self loaded a container form the UK and it is due to arrive in Freemantle tomorrow. Does anyone know what the procedure is next? I have no agent as this end. Do I need one or can I keep the costs down and complete the checks with customs etc myself then just arrange for it to be delivered. Any help would be greatly appreciated as on a really tight budget. Also - anyone aware of the costs involved? Thanks
  3. Hey All, We are in the process of putting together our 175 VISA application. We are going with an Australian Migration Agent that comes very highly recommended and has a 98.9% success rate. The agent has suggested front loading our application, with meds and character references etc all ready to go with the application. She said in her experience as an agent this often gets things moving quicker. However she did say that in doing so you put yourself at risk of only having a short amount of time to pack up your life here and get over to Australia to get your VISA stamped. You may say there is the easy solution of flying out there, getting VISA stamped and then coming back to England to sort things out (as you have 5 years to go once the VISA is stamped). However we have a small baby who will be 1 when we do this and i don't think that it is fair to make her do 4 plane journeys. What we didn't ask was if our VISA was granted and we had say only 6 weeks to validate our VISA, could we pay for our medicals to be done again and send them off for approval? £700 works out cheaper than paying 3 airfares 4 ways. Your opinions are very welcome!!! Thanks Carlie, Dan and Helena

Hi, I have been reading about 'front loading' applications? What does this mean? And what are the benefits of doing this? Cheers Renton

    removing front loaded pcc's

Is it possible to remove the first pcc's that I front loaded or will the second pcc's over ride the first set that we put in?
  6. would anyone know how long a defacto visa would take to process if the police checks and medicals have been front loaded?
