  1. A couple of days ago I was faced with a common sight. I went in the bathroom, the seat was down, and there was a large puddle in the corner. I interogated the three boys - they all swore blue that they hadn't done it. I'll be damned but I couldn't tell which one was lying and which ones were telling the truth. So, I waited five minutes, lined them up again, and then told them that I'd done DNA testing on the wee, and I knew who it was. They were good I'll give you that. The middle one aged nine challenged me. He said, 'but you haven't taken our DNA profile, so how do you know which one it was. Quick as a flash I answered - 'you were all swabbed at birth' I looked them all in the eye and said - 'there will be no punishment, but I want you to own up. It's ok to have an accident, but we need to know.' I told them again, that I knew who it was, but that I wanted them to say sorry without my having to name them. Finally the youngest (5) cracked. Sobbing he confessed. I told him it was okay, no harm done, but that next time, lift the seat up, and if you have an accident - let us know.
  2. Hello everyone! Was browsing around the site and there are a lot of helpful things on here! I am from Illinois in the US and I am planning on moving to Brisbane come anywhere in between april-august of next year, and i am trying to figure out exactly what i need to do, to do it. Im so lost, i need guidance haha.
  3. Hi All, I am new to the site so bare with me and my babbling! Me and my family were hoping to emigrate to Australia in the next 12 months but I'm having difficulties deciding whether I would fit into any of the categories on the jobs wanted database. I have been working as a housing scheme officer/project worker with ex-offenders, homeless and addicts for the last 8 years through an agency and currently do not hold any formal qualifications as my line of work doesn't really offer any degree's etc in this sector. I was wondering whether on not I could still attempt to put through a visa based on work experience rather than qualifications or whether at nearly 30 I'd need to go back to university!! My partner has worked as a factory worker for the last 12 years and unfortunatly again no qualifications. Any advice would be great. Hayley

  6. I am interested to know the moral compass of this forum!!! If push really came to shove and you knew that one lie (or withholding some relevant information) would make the difference between you getting your visa or not would you do it? Daniel p.s. make sure you vote even if you don't want to leave a post - my guess is most people will be more honest about their opinion if it's anonymous! (even the potentially dishonest ones!!)
