There's quite a lot of new features now with the friendship stuff and chicken clickin' so I thought it was perhaps a good time to ask you to think about internet safety. This sends a message to the moderators and we can check it out for you. Stay Safe and Have Fun Ali

  5. Hi Everyone, I try to go through the young section as often as I can, but don't always catch every message or thread. Generally there isn't a problem, but we've had one young lad whose given out his email and msn addy in almost every post - so I have deleted the address, not sure his mum or dad know if he's registered or not - so just a reminder if you could to check with your youngsters to make sure their using the site as safely as they can be and not posting any addys. Also, if you notice they have been posted, please give myself or one of the other mods a shout as we can edit posts. Thank you Mrs Keily and Kdal for your words of wisdom about safety on the young peoples threads. Thanks Ali x

  8. Still waiting for house to sell and now trying to decide if Northern suburbs are really the best option for us or whether we would be as well opting for our plan B and heading to Halls Head property seems much cheaper. Trying to tick off all our requirements as a family and I am struggling to find much info about junior football teams - my eight year old has played in his team since turning five (currently caparo league under 9's) and has hardly missed a game - one of our main priorities will be to find him a new team for training and hopefully he'll prove worthy - he his certainly committed thats for sure. Can anyone offer any info - we will either be heading to Ocean Reef / Woodvale or Halls Head near Mandurah. Also have a three year old daughter whose begging to start dance classes
  9. Hi folks. We are hoping to move out to Aus later on in the year, thinking of going to Woombye/Palmwood area. Does anyone know these areas well and can tell me a bit more about them? and am trying to find out about schools. My daughter is 11 (12 in Jan) so I assume she will still be at juniors. Has anyone got any recommendations or info? Thank you, much appreciated!:spinny:

    Junior Football

Hi All Does anyone know of any Junior football teams on the sunshine coast , my boy is desperate to start playing again , as he hasnt played since we moved to Australia four months ago. He would be in the under 11s and we are based in Caloundra , but will travel. Also Im keen to coach if any teams need any help , as I,m a F.A qualified coach and have coached Juniors before. Any help or contacts would be great. Thanks Daz
  11. My son has just been assessed by Educational Psychologist and we have been told he is now being put on a very long waiting list for help in school. We hope to be in Oz by middle of 2009 and were wondering if help is readily available in the schools over there and how long he may have to wait to get the assistance he needs in the classroom?
