Hi all, just thought id clarify what my thoughts are on insulated houses in oz.It would appear thart some of you think im talking of insulating over your "internal" brickwork . No i could never do that to the aussies, it would take away that nostalgic 70,s feel about the place, lol.The insulation goes on the outside and is rendered over, sorry i should have explained.Yes most of you are right about the aussies not being bothered about the enviroment etc, but the governments around the world are going climate mad and it is only a matter of time before the aussies like all the other governments latch on to making more money out of us all and make us all go insulation mad. Also many have pointed out the aussies are tight, well an insulated house done properly stops heat escaping and keeps the cold out.. thus saving money. Sorry if i didnt explain myself initially, i do think though change is afoot.Theirs money to be saved..............oh and the planet:idea:P.S sorry if i offended those loving brick interiors.!!

    Categorising Industrial Insulation

Can anyone help? I have got to the stage where Canberra have shown an interest in my CV and I am starting the process of completing my application for state sponsorship, so it is ready when the doors re-open for applications. As part of the process we are researching work for my husband as we need to show how we intend to support ourselves. He runs his own business in the construction industry insulating air conditioning ductwork, pipework, boilers etc, mainly for large industrial and commerical buildings. We know this is a trade that happens all over the world, but it is very difficult to categorise, even in this country. Is there anyone who knows how it is categorised in Aus, and/or any names of companies that deal with this type of work. He does not plan to have his own business in Aus., but ideally would be best working in the same trade. Once we have this information, it may be easier for us to identify potential jobs and salary. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
