Not sure if this is the right place to post this so Mods pls move if you want :jiggy: At home I’m lucky in the respect that I have a cleaner and also a local shop that does ironing and I’m wondering if I will be able to afford to carry this on here in Oz wether it be by hiring a local person who wants a bit of extra income or via a professional cleaning company? Does anyone know what kind of wage you would expect to be paid as a domestic cleaner that also irons? Also do you think it would be easy to find someone to do this and where could I advertise or find someone? Many Thanks Emma X

Hi there For all of us poor people waiting to jump over the pond to oz it would be helpful if any of you already enjoying the life of riley could give us a clue as to how much the ACTUAL rate of pay is for certain jobs, ie what job you do and what you actually get payed per week, any info would be greatfully appreciated. I am a nurse and my DH is a fitter, what would we expect to earn per week each REALLY. :?

Hi I am moving to Sydney in December and am looking at rental in the city. In order to work out what i will sensibly be able to afford, i need to know an average hourly rate for bar work. Any ideas?
