happyfeet90 posted a topic in Visa Chatmy wife is applying for 189 visa in accountancy professsion and her eoi got accepted recently.. i am very concerned whether she should upload her medical clearance and police clearance along with all other documents or should we wait for her CO to ask for her medical test.. her current doctor (not a panel physician) has done all her tests and all her reports are normal and she has inactive hepatitis b and she would have a normal life ahead. as far as i have read form 30 i have found that only XRAY and HIV tests are done for this visa and hep b and c tests are only done for people involved in medical profession, so this would be not a problem But we do not have any idea about whether to say yes or no in her form 80 about her hep condition . please can someone provide assistance in our case as she has worked really hard for ielts and arranging visa fees and we do not want to take any wrong step. :ssign14:
Hi All, I have come to know that to immigrate to Australia we need to undergo certain Medical tests like Chest X-Ray for TB and Hepatitis B & C tests. I have found out that I am a carrier of Hepatitis B. Can I still migrate to Australia or there will reject my case? Please share your experiences.
I'm applying for a medical treatment visa (temporary) to have my baby delivered in Australia (note that my partner is australian so my baby will be australian by descent as well) The problem is I have chronic hepB. It's not affecting my liver as it's in a very healthy condition (still) and since hepB is required for pregnant applicants, how will this affect my visa application? Will this be considered as a threat to public health as I'm giving birth at a hospital in Australia? Many thanks to any advices.
