    When is Hayfever season from/to?

Hi My daughter has hay fever. In England she starts taking medication 1 month before her hayfever is due to hit so that her system builds up some resistance in advance. We are hoping to arrive in Perth in December. Is this right in the middle of hayfever season? Is her hayfever likely to be as bad there as it is here? (Might seem like a daft question, but I wondered whether, if the breeze comes in off the ocean, then maybe it might not contain so much pollen). I am wondering whether to start giving her medicine in November. Any advice?

    Hayfever tablets?!

Well myself and OH are hayfever sufferers. Mine hasn't been too bad over the last 2/3 yrs. Were currently experiencing our 1st oz springtime and mine is now back with sore throat and everything! Went into chemist today and brought the cheapest large box of tablets at $30 for 50. I almost had palpitations,a far way from the £1-2 I used to pay in asda! So guys have you got any other cheaper options for me to try or is $30 the going rate?

    WA Hayfever season.

When it is? I used to get hayfever in Scotland in the summer but as I have got older it has streched to all year as nearly everything effected me and I took tabs every day to help. I have been here since October and have never had any symptoms - the first time in years!!! BUT since Saturday I have felt miserable. Anybody else having problems? Mandy

    Hayfever!

In the summer time in the UK, I have terrible hayfever for about 3 months. Will this happen when I get to Australia? When I go abroad in the summer, my hayfever either is not as bad ot dissapears whilst I'm there. Will this happen in Oz or will I still have hayfever, I think it depends on the pollen and stuff, I'm not too sure... xoxo
  9. Hi, We're currently awaiting 176 Visa for ACT. Being a hay-fever sufferer I'm interested in knowing if anyone thinks it gets better or worse in Australia? is there prescription in Australia where you get free medication? I'm sure hay-fever differs greatly from one area to another. Cheers, Mike.

    Hayfever

G-Day PIO, Has anyone suffered from hayfever in the UK as a child but as they got older grew out of it, then moved the Aus and started to suffer again. This is my first spring here in Aus (Wagga Wagga / country life) and my eyes are killing me, I'm going to the chemist today but I was just wondering if anyone else had or has the same problem? Matt :arghh:

    Hayfever

Hi, just a quick question to all you Ozzy dwellers. Two of the kids suffer quite badly with hayfever. Does anyone find it a probem in Oz or does it make a difference where abouts you live. Just mulling it over while my husband ploughs his way through the TRA forms.:spinny:

Fascinating topic, I know, but here goes anyway: is there anyone who suffered from hayfever in the UK continued to suffer with it (or not) when they moved to Oz??

    Hayfever in Oz ?

Hy Not sure if it's been covered before but i have just started with my Hayfever and my eyes are like snails, I hope to be living somewhere in Queensland in the not too distant future and was hoping someone who has made the move over to Oz could tell me as to whether they get similar symptoms of hayfever there as they did back home. I am hoping that i won't be affected too bad as this would really put a downer on the move. Cheers

    Hayfever down under??

Living in Norfolk surrounded by fields growing lots of different crops is not the best place to live if you're a hayfever sufferer, so I was wondering what I can expect in Melbourne - Mornington. Does anyone know what the pollen count is like there? Thanks Tracyxx
