Scarborough, double view, yokine?? good/bad? info please

Hi all My Husband & I are making the move down under we will be our there within 6 months. We would love any info on Scarborough, Double view (coastal) and Yokine (inland). Looking to rent $400 budget, (looked on a few retail websites so know this is possible) We have 2 young children 4 & 2 so would be looking for a good primary school if anyone has any ideas. Also trying to work out a budget for household utilities costs. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you -
Hi All, We are on the verge of giving Seven Seas the job to ship 10 x boxes ( all our wordly goods) can anyone give me some feed back on them good or bad, all imput very welcome :biggrin: They are cheap as chips compared to the rest I have quoted but maybe theres good reason for that or maybe they are just a good shipper with competitive pricing thanks for taking the time to read and look forward to your thoughts :notworthy: John.

Hi all, We're still here in the UK and we've just had a booklet arrive from ANZ about setting up a bank account. So just wanting to know people's thoughts on this bank? Any good or bad experiences had? We are (hopefully) headed to WA, so would need a bank that has numerous branches, ATM's and general good banking practice. I had a look on WESPAC website as I believe they are one of the "big ones" but it seems like you only have 90 days from setting up the bank account here in the UK, to activating it in Oz. Does that sound right? I couldn't see anything like this in the ANZ paperwork that we received. We don't have an exact date as yet, when we will be arriving in WA, so would need to be careful of any time restrictions. I believe that NAB is another good bank? Any advice welcome :wubclub: Thanks folks. P

Hi im new to this so iv got 101 questions. Im a 24year old timed served carpinter and joiner totaly fead up with -20 here in the north of scotland planning to head down under this summer for who knows how long. Whats the building trade is like in australia as you here so many mixed stories good/bad is there alot of work going around, whats the average wage for a joiner in on £13 per hour here, is there certain place's thats there is more work than others? I would apreacheate any feedback very much thanks jamie:cool:
