savedbytheson posted a topic in Visa ChatHi all, I am currently in my 2nd year of Advanced Diploma of Hospitality. My first year is in Certificate III Patisserie. I haven't applied for TRA or such thing. My condition is: - I have 6 months work experience as a Part-time Baker before - Currently working as Casual Baker (been 3 months) - Will finish my 2 years course in next April - I started my course in April 2009, but i am not sure whether i am eligible for transitional arrangements as i didn't apply for TRA prior to 1st July 2010 Any options for me to get the PR here? (i don't want to move to another state). My current employer probably will be able to sponsor me in the future, but i would rather to get the PR on my own as i do not want to owe him. Any chance for me to get the PR? If i have to get it through sponsorship, what are the steps or condition i must follow? and please let me know whether i can apply for TR now as i have 6 months experience already. I am so in need of an answer Thank you very much for the help! God bless
Wolla Bolla Bing Bong posted a topic in Careers and VacanciesHi all, I have finally made my decision on where to live once I finally get my visa (whenever that might be), and I have chose the Sunshine Coast. I particularly like the Caloundra area but anywhere near there would be good enough for me. I am looking to send my Resume off to various construction companies within the Sunshine coast or Brisbane area so I could improve my chances of finding employment and was wondering if anyone could possibly supply me with some Construction names? I have searched over the net but finding it a little struggle to find any big name construction companies, so if anyone out there could provide me with some would be very much appreciated. Cheers Matt
Hiya all, since the demise of 'pathway D', it seems my best chance of getting an oz visa is to try for an AQF111 in flooring technology. My agent has advised me of a UK based firm called AUSTRALIA TRADE ASSESSMENTS who are " fully qualified RTO affiliates of Master Builders Queensland". I was wondering if anyone had any experince using this company to attain an AQF111 in flooring finishing. Any details however small or comprehensive would be greatly appreciated It would make me feel a whole lot better if i was more informed before handing over my hard earned £1500 Thanks. Steve.
